I am a journalist, editor and video producer. I have worked as a reporter at the Independent and written for the Guardian, VICE, Refinery29, New Internationalist, Open Democracy, the LRB, Huck and many others. I am currently head of articles at Novara Media.

I am based in London but I travel a lot and have lived and worked extensively in Myanmar.

I most enjoy writing in-depth reported features that tackle social issues in an engaging, human way. Thematically, I tend to cover social movements and activism, politics in the UK and south east Asia, migration and refugee issues, housing, mental health, gender and international development, but I am a versatile writer with diverse experience, from working on a busy news desk to producing food and travel pieces for Refinery29 and Munchies.
